NightShade is an application for those looking to keep their digital files secure. When sending sensitive information over the Internet, there is no way of telling if it will be shared afterwards. NightShade keeps these files locked between two users, giving the creator peace of mind.

My goal as a designer for this project was to create a visual identity that represents the security NightShade has to offer and to make the identity more accessible to consumers in today’s world.
Research Process
After reviewing the creative brief, there were several key words that spoke to the feel of the project and directed my early stages of design:

Security – Classified – Transfer – Digital – Data
Shield - Lock – Exchange – Cloak - Document

With these key words in mind, the design direction follows a Top Secret, Militaristic, Spy aesthetic. Below are images used as inspiration during the concept phase.
